A Survey on the Lord's Table

Many of you know that I've recently completed my MA at Lincoln Christian Seminary.  The major body of my work surrounded the Lord's Table - the practice instituted by Jesus himself in the midst of His closest disciples on the night of His betrayal, and which has endured in the life of the Church in many forms ever since.

We all have preconceptions about this act of worship.  Yet some may not be entirely based in Scripture or the historical record.  This brief survey may cause you to question some of those assumptions, stretch your thinking, but most importantly strengthen your response of thanksgiving to the Lord and His salvific gift.
